Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Brydg ("Brydg," "we," "our," or "us") provides an AI-native hiring platform for companies that manage roles, applications, interview scheduling, AI interviews, candidate evaluation, and offer workflows. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, secure, and delete information when you use brydg.app, the Brydg application, and related services.

Brydg is a business-to-business product. Our customers are employers and hiring teams. We also process candidate information on behalf of those customers when candidates apply for jobs, schedule interviews, or participate in hiring workflows.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you or your organization provide directly, including:

  • Account information such as name, work email address, profile photo, authentication method, and organization membership.
  • Workspace information such as company name, website, industry, team members, invite codes, hiring settings, and onboarding preferences.
  • Hiring data such as job roles, role descriptions, screening questions, applications, candidate contact details, resumes, interview records, notes, evaluations, decisions, and offer details.
  • Candidate information submitted through public application or scheduling pages, including name, email, phone number, resume files, screening answers, selected interview times, and related communications.
  • Support and operational communications you send to us.

We also collect technical and usage information such as IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, API requests, timestamps, authentication events, error logs, and security audit information.

3. Google Calendar Data

If an authorized workspace administrator connects Google Calendar, Brydg requests limited Google OAuth permissions so the hiring team can schedule and manage interview events.

Brydg requests the following Google Calendar permissions:

  • Calendar list read access so the administrator can choose which calendar Brydg should use for interview scheduling.
  • Calendar event access so Brydg can create, update, and delete interview events, add candidate and interviewer attendees, and attach Google Meet conference details when available.

Brydg does not request Google Drive access for the Calendar integration. Brydg does not sell Google user data, does not use Google Calendar data for advertising, and does not use Google Calendar data to train general AI models. Calendar data is used only to provide and improve user-facing interview scheduling features, maintain security, troubleshoot the integration, comply with law, and enforce our agreements.

Brydg's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create, authenticate, and manage user accounts and workspaces.
  • Provide hiring workflows, including role creation, application collection, resume processing, interview scheduling, calendar sync, AI interview support, evaluation, analytics, and offer workflows.
  • Communicate with users and candidates about account activity, interview scheduling, applications, product updates, security notices, and support requests.
  • Operate, monitor, debug, secure, and improve Brydg and related infrastructure.
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unauthorized access.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our contracts and policies.

We do not sell personal information.

5. AI Processing

Brydg uses AI systems to assist with hiring workflows, including resume parsing, role fit analysis, interview assistance, transcript review, and evaluation summaries. AI outputs are intended to support human hiring teams and should be reviewed by the customer before making employment decisions.

Brydg does not use customer or candidate Google Calendar data to train general-purpose AI models. Where third-party AI providers process customer or candidate data, they do so as service providers under applicable contractual and security obligations.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • Customer workspace members according to their roles and permissions.
  • Candidates, interviewers, and calendar attendees when needed to schedule or conduct interviews.
  • Service providers that host, secure, process, or support Brydg, such as cloud infrastructure, storage, email, analytics, AI, and calendar API providers.
  • Legal, security, or compliance recipients when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • A successor organization if Brydg is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.

7. Data Storage and Security

Brydg uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. These safeguards include encryption in transit, access controls, credential protection, audit logging, and secure cloud infrastructure practices.

No internet or cloud service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If we identify a security incident affecting your information, we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law and our contractual obligations.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Brydg, maintain accurate business and security records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Workspace administrators can delete or disconnect integrations from within Brydg where available.

If a Google Calendar integration is disconnected, Brydg stops using the related Google OAuth tokens for future calendar operations and deletes or invalidates stored connection credentials according to our operational retention practices. Existing calendar events may remain in the user's Google Calendar unless deleted by the user or through Brydg before disconnection.

To request deletion of account, workspace, candidate, or integration data, visit our Data Deletion page or contact privacy@brydg.app.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Brydg may use essential cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, maintain security, remember preferences, and operate the application. We may also use privacy-conscious analytics to understand product performance and improve the service. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Candidates should contact the employer or hiring organization first for requests about hiring records controlled by that organization. You may also contact Brydg at privacy@brydg.app, and we will route or respond to the request as appropriate.

11. Children's Privacy

Brydg is not directed to children and is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Brydg, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

12. International Processing

Brydg and our service providers may process information in countries where we or they operate. Those countries may have data protection laws different from your location. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the website, application, email, or another appropriate channel.
